    For oh! what a halo of glory and splendour
    To his rugged old features her presence imparts;
    Right royally robed in that vesture of purple
    Held fast on his shoulders by crystals of quartz.
    And doesn't old Corrig seem proud of his loved one,
    As with maidenly shyness she glances around,

    Flash back salutations and wishes sincere.
