Mac Namara and the water horse.
Part ll
One of the MacNamara families lived in the castle of Craganown near Cullane about a hundred years ago. It was told to MacNamara that his corn had been eaten, that he had sown in his field. He set his workmen to see what was eating it. They reported that a mare and foal came up out of the lake during the night and fed on the young corn. So MacNamara sent his men to catch them the following night. The men succeded in catching the foal but the mare escaped. The foal grew up and was the finest(continues on next page)- Collector
