    The Seven Stones:-
Down near St. Mullins a farmer and his labourers went to work in a field on a holiday of obligation. At dinner time his wife was carrying dinner to the field, when she saw Saint Moling walking toward the field. She dropped the basket and ran away. St. Moling turned the men into stones. The woman was running towards Graignamanagh but at Carrigleade she was also turned into a stone. Some of the stones were used to build Marley Castle and it was noticed that women who lived there died very young.
