    Lord Cavendish and Mr Burke. There were five men executed for the crime with the result that James Caery the vile Informer was shot dead in Capetown six months after. A Co. Donegal man was hung for the shooting of James Caery so the Bishops of Ireland thought it was better for Parnell not to be made member of Parliament any more for fear of more murders. They opposed him at the next elections and Parnell was beaten which resulted in his heart breaking at the thought of the people of Ireland whom he liked so well and did so much for. Parnell came to Graignamanagh and he gave a great lecture in Tinnehinch. He was the first man that ever got a
