  1. People long ago sought cures for their ailments from the herbs, and certain cures were handed down from generation to generation. Certain people around her have cures but they keep them a jealously guarded secret.
    A cure for warts I know is very old. Put the milky fluid of dandelions on the wart every day until it is gone. For a sty if you prod it with a gooseberry thorn for nine consecutive days and at the end of that time it will be cured. For corns you boil ivy leaves and bathe the corns with the extract of the leaves
