- There are many different kinds of birds in my district, such as:-
The robin, wren, willy-wag-tail, sparrow, sky lark, tom-tit, black stair crow, magpie, jack-daw, woodpigeon blackbird, thrush, owl, waterhen, yellow hammer, curlue, snipe, grouse, wild duck wild geese, corn crake, pheasant, partridge and a lot of other kinds of birds
Not many of them emigrate.
A sky lark lays her eggs in a hole in the ground.
Snipe, corncrake, waterhen and othes build their nests in banks.
An owl build her nest in a hole or hollow in a old wall or old run.
The crow magpie, Jackdaw and wood quest builds in a tree or high bush. The wood-pigeon's nest is of eight or nine sticks only. One day she went to the crow to teach her how to build her nest. While the crow was teaching her She told her put one stick here and one stick there and the wood-pigeon(continues on next page)- Collector
