    Cures
Cure for Chicken pock:- mix sulphur Ointment and a spoonful of salt. Wet it with vinegar and rub it on the afflicted part.
Cure for warts:- If you were going by a ditch and had warts and came to a tree with water in the middle dip your hand in the water and rub it on the warts and they will go after a couple of days. It will not cure you if you are looking for the tree. You must chance to find it by accident.
Cure for pimples:- Get fresh dandelion leaves and use them as salad.
Cure for Distemper:- Get a lump of salt about as big as a thimble and put it in a piece of butter. Then make the animal swallow it. If one dose is not sufficient give one or two more and after a coupe of days the animal will recover.
