    We departed from the quay.

    Beds of oriental flowers
    Disregarding language strong
    Go these noble steeds of ours
    Under a shady wood we wind
    Passing hills of heath and gorse
    Leaving everything behind
    Except the driver and the horse.

    Music flowing as it should
    And the waves appear to dance
    As the sweeet harmonious Flood
    Ripples melodies so grand
