    There was an old man and he had a friend a priest, who was fond of him. When the priest had nothing to do he used to spend his time talking to the old man.

    such a fright that he ran out of the church and he left the door open. The light was seen for many nights after but the caretaker never shut the door. One stormy night a poor tramp could get no shelter in the neighbourhood and seeing the church open he went in. About midnight the church lit up and a priest appeared on the altar, and said in a loud voice "is there anyone here to serve my Mass." The traveller got such a fright that he said "I am". The priest said his Mass. The light was never seen afterwards.
