    use the bus coming from Castlecomer to Kilkenny in the morning and arriving at the school at 9.50 A.M.
    They can return in Evening at 3.10 P.M on the same service. The Bus is owned by a private person (Mr. A. King of Castlecomer) The charges for children are moderate
    The district is now almost exclusively Roman Catholic in Religion. There is not on the schools a child of any other denomination and there is no other school in the area. There is only known to the writer one protestant household in Dunmore at the present time.
    Dunmore is situated about eleven miles south of the famous Castlecomer Collieries and the Castlecomer Coal is in general use in every house large and small. in the townsland.
    Coal Carters ply their weary way still between the Colliery and Kilkenny city although there is a railway now connecting up the Colliery and the city. The carters sell direct to the people, mostly on Saturday market day in town of Kilkenny.
