    tradition that about midnight a noise like wind can be heard whistling through the grave.
    In the month of May if any one picks May thorn and brings it into their house, they will have bad luck throughout the year.
    On New-Years Day if any red-haired person comes into the house the people of that house will have bad luck for the coming year.
    At Furness about three miles from the town of Naas there is the ruins of an old Church and in it there are an number of old Holy-water Fonts, and it is said that if any one takes one of them that some bad luck will happen to them.
