    people sowed flax and brought it to him and then he weaved it into cloth for them.
    He had a frame called a loom for weaving. He also used to weave a cloth for making quilts called drugget. It was a coarse woolen cloth. He also wove linen table cloths. My Granny got several quilts, table cloths and other material woven by him. The old man's name was Meehan. His grandson Simon Meehan is still alive and living in the old house, but does not carry on the work of his Grandfather. This man has table clothes woven by his Grandfather, still his possession.
