- Mr Finn. This story is about a strange thing that happened in Errill a long time ago.Long ago a man lived in Errill and his name was Finn. He was Protestant and he said when he would die that he was to be buried in the Catholic graveyard in Errill. When he died he was buried in it but that night he was taken up out of the grave and laid against the door of Rathsamn Protestant Church. The next day when the people saw this they buried him opposite the door. This story was told to my by Mr. Fitzpatrick of Church St, Rathdowney, Leix. and he is about 76 years of age and heard it from his father about forty years ago.
