  1. A good many old people around this district have a lot of cures. The people that have these cures are called "Quack Doctors".
    One of these cures is If you have a toothache and you chew the leg of a frog it will get alright.
    If there are seven sons and no girl born in a family the seventh son is called the doctor.
    Another cure is. If you get a bad cut and put a cobweb on it it will keep it from bleeding too much.
    If you have the chin caught and you drink the milk left after a ferret it will get better.
    Lots of the cures and plasters are made out of herbs and
