  1. There is a Monument situated in Tun Duff. It is a three cornered piece of land at the cross-roads between the Portleix and Mountrath roads. there are four bushes growing on it, and it is said that babies that were not baptised used to be buried there.
    Others say that soldiers were buried there. No one ever interfered with the spot and it can be seen by anyone who goes along these roads.
