  1. Old people tell us that in times gone by people used to get money under flags and large stones.
    In my townland a few years ago an old man called at the door of a neighbour's house. The man seemed to the people of the house as an old man looking for charity. After some time when he had some refreshments he asked them if he knew there was money buried in their garden. Of course at first the people of the house were surprised but when he explained to them how they were to get it they got very anxious and questioned
