    Some years ago there was a man who worked for a farmer.

    Some years ago there was a man who worked for a farmer. He used to pass through a graveyard every night coming from work.
    When he would come to the graveyard there was always a man dressed in white sitting on a tomb-stone. This used not frighten him.
    When he would go home he would tell any rambling men that would come in about the ghost he used to see.
    This night when he came home he told the man about the ghost he did believe him him in his mind, and he said to himself,
    "Ha ha you do not see any ghost at al but I will catch you out some night yet."
