twenty eggs. The crane is a large bird, it lives on fish. It builds its nest in the top of a high tree with two holes in the bottom of the nest for his long legs to hang down. There is a couple of stories told about the robin how it got the red breast, one of them is as follows; When Our Saviour was hanging on the Cross the robin came & tried to pull the nails out of his feet. When it was at work some of the blood fell on its breast & that is one of the reasons how the robin got the red breast.
