- There is a Holy Well in Kilminchy Maryborough. Close to the Maryborough Convict Prison. It is Father O'Connors well. It has cured anyone suffering from [unknown] or teethache will be cured who goes to the well, and says some prayers, and take a mouthful of the water. It is a very Holy well and it is the only one in this Parish.
