    An bóthairín cam
    This is the name of a path running from Slatt road down through a number of fields to Southern's old house.
    The fairy path
    This path starts at a field called "the brow of the hill" and comes out at Slatt road through Delaney's fields. People travelling this path at night very often go astray.
    Comerford's path
    This path starts at Slatt road and goes through Comerford's field and meets the New Line at Tom Doyles house.
    Gregory's cross
    A man called Gregory was shot there once. He was collecting rent for a landlord.
    Old Customs
    In this district when a funeral reaches a crossroads every one kneels and says the De Profundis for the departed soul.
