    The townland is not mentioned in any song or saying.
    The land is very hilly and there is a good deal of boggy land.
    There is a hazel wood in this district. It is called Clogrennane wood. The size was once 150 acres. There are also groves of young trees.
    Rivers and streams are very plentiful. There are no lakes.
