  1. "Travelling people" still call to my home. These people have been doing so for many years. Some of them are poor and some are not.
They have small articles for sale which the people buy. The obtain their supplies in Carlow and other towns.
    These "travellers" are sometimes welcome.
They sometimes stay for about a night in the district. They generally have caravans in which they sleep. They get food from the people. They usually accept milk and bread and money is also acceptable. They travel in families and in bands.
The "travellers" who most frequently visit my district are known by the name Bryan.
