    Captain Prior Wandesforde was the landlord of our district.
    The family has been settled in the district for many generations.
    They were looked upon as very good landlords.
    Neither evictions nor plantings were carried out in our district.
    The landlords were given the possession of the land by the Government.
    The land was divided into farms under their guidance.
    The farm was usually given to the eldest son of the family.
    The landlord had special power over his tenants. He claimed the game, fish and mines. No one could
