There is not much known about the mermaid around here. I heard that mermaid has a body like a person and a tail like a fish. I heard some of the old people say that the mermaid could talk but more people say that she cannot. The mermaid lives in water especially in the sea. - There were some big storms in Ireland. There was much damage done while these storms lasted. The biggest storm took place in the of January 1839. Before the storm the sky darkened almost as black as night and the people had to light up(continues on next page)
