The poor man was waiting two hours before the fairies came. At last he heard the galloping of the horses coming and they passed by like the wind. About the eleventh or twelvth rider he noticed this one having here head sideways. He threw the salt at her and immediately she fell into his arms. Then he shook the holy water on her and she became a right woman the same as ever.
They went home together and the little boy was asleep on the hearth and they spent the rest of their lives happily together.
