    The little man said he would give them a clock and when he would tell the clock do its duty it would do anything he wanted.
    So the boy consented and gave the cow for the clock. When the boy came home with the clock his mother beat him and threw out the clock.
    The next day the boy got the clock and told it do its duty and the clock threw out to him gold and silver.
    The women and boy lived very happily together afterwards
