    There is a fair held in this village of Drimoleague on the 25th of September each year. It is held in honour of St Finbarr who is the patron Saint of this Diocese.
    When the fair was held in the top of the Rock, there were faction fights. All the people of one name would gather together with sticks and stones and bottles. Then the other people of one name would gather together and start fighting each other.
