    It is unlucky to remove on a Friday or to carry the cat to the new place.
    You should never give out money on Monday.
    It is unlucky to sweep the dust out the door for you would be sweeping your luck out.
    It is unlucky to remove the hearthstone in an old house.
    If potatoes, oats or wheat are in the the house when a person dies they should not be used as seed for the coming year.
    Baby's nails should not be cut until he is a year old.
    A baby should not be allowed to look into a mirror until he is a year old.
    A new dog should not be brought into the house until the baby is a year old.
