  2. Good Friday was the day,
When Our Saviour's heart was pierced,
    From side to side.
    His Blessed Mother standing by,
With a heavy heart and a dismal cry.
    Whoever says this prayer
Three times a day and three times a night
Shall never see Hell Nor the gates of Purgatory
    Shall never enter in.
