   It is not a good sign of the weather when there are many black clouds in the sky.
   Hens pick themselves when rain is about to come. When goats are high upon a mountain fine weather is near.
   When goats come home bad weather is about to come.

   When you see the threads on the grass from the weavers frost will come. When the Robin comes in, snow is near. When you hear the pheasants crowing it is the sign of thunder. A white line in the sky indicates rain. When you hear the cat scraping a storm is near. When the wild geese come rain will soon fall. When we see the seagulls coming in from the sea we know rain is at hand. If the live ashes is blue rain is near. If Friday morning or Saturday evening is wet, we may expect rain during the next week.
