  1. Local Marriage Customs
    There is a certain time of the year that people usually get married. This time is called Shrove. The old people in our village consider Friday and Saturday and also the month of May an unlucky time to get married. An old rhyme the old people have is:-
    Monday for health
    Teusday for wealth
    Wednesday the best day of all
    Thrusday for crosses.
    Friday for lossess
    Saturday the worst day of all
    A very old and unusual custom in our district is Match making. Very often the
