  1. There are six Holy Wells in this school district - one each in the townlands of Baile na Carraige, Biolarach, Cineál Mór, Gleann na Ráth, Cloichín and Cill Athach.
The one in Baile na Carraige is called "Tobair na Codladh".
That in Cineál Mór is down in a cliff called Suil Adha (Eye).
That in Gleann na Ráth is called "Tobair na mBeannach" because it is situated on top of a hill called Beannacha(s).
The one in Cloicín is "Tobraid Mhicíl" where the Pattern is held.
That in Cill Athach is in a place called Beárnas and is called "Tobairín".
