  1. My grandfather's name was Tim Sullivan. He lived in Carrig, about a mile from the Kilmacowen school. He had a farm of twenty acres, and he had five cows.
    The landlord who owned his farm, was Lord Bantry. He was a bad man. One time my grandfather had not the rent. When the landlord came around for the rent my grandfather handed him all he had. Lord Bantry said that would not do, or if he wouldn't give it to him now
