  1. Long ago about ninety years ago, there was a dancing school in Goulane, about a mile from this school. That school was situated on the road between Kilmacowen and Goulane. A man that was teaching in that school. His name was Dan Murphy. He was living in Goulane, about a mile from this school. He had a very small house for teaching dance.
    Several people used come to that school from Báwrs and from other places. Dan Murphy had a fiddle, and he used be playing it, and he used teach dance also.
