My Grandmother told me a few nights ago that her mother was taken by the fairies and there was an old witch put in the bed instead of her. After some time they were getting tired and afraid of her and her father went to Máire Ní Murcadha and told her about she being taken by the fairies. Máire told him that a number of horses would pass by his house the next evening and that his wife will be on the last white horse and to grab her and take her with him. He stood by the end of the house the next evening until the horses came along.
His wife was on the last white horse and he tried to grab her but the life fell from his hands and legs and he had to go home without her.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
