Clondrohid was never hard up for a good bowl player. In the late eighties and early nineties, Dan Horgan, of Carrigafooka, was the star who tackled many a tough rival. Immediately after came John Driscoll, of the Church Cross who was an all round Athlete. He was equally fit at the bowl, the football, the half hundred and the mile race.
