    the present day very few tailors in the country stock cloth but long ago every tailor had a little shop in which he sold all kinds of materials. There are but few spinning wheels in this manufacturing from flax is a lost art in this part of the country. Tailors in olden times were very poetic and I have often heard some of their effusions which appeared in the public ballads at that time.
