    some evil-minded person may overlook them. Sheep and swine are kept for their flesh, and are petted sometimes when young.
    A goat generally called, "Bet" or "Nanny" may become a great pet and if given good food repays for it in its milk. The donkey generally called "Neddy" likes to be petted and is sometimes kept as a companion for foals and colts.
