  1. The following prayer is said by the old people at night:-
    An trúir is sine,
    An trúir is óige,
    An Trúir is truise í bFleitheas na gláire
    'An' shábháil is am gárdáil ó anocht
    Go dtí bliadhain is anocht mí
    In ainin an áthair is an mhich is an spioradh naomh. Amen.
    The following prayer is also said by old people to prevent themselves of a tromluighe:-
    An - mháthair Muire, Muire Máthair Criost Naomh Cibhlís máthair Naomh Coin baiste An cros gur úasadh Crióst aann 'am' sháoradh an aucí na h-oidhcheagus ar an dtromluighe, Amen.
