The smith shoes horses and cattle. Long ago the smith used put half-shoes on cattle.
Long ago the smith used make farm implements such as spades, ploughs, grafains, socs of ploughs, harrows, pikes, axles of butts, pig rings, nails furzesides bill hook, and cranes. Usually the smith made everything he was asked.
The smith shoes horses. He gets the sole knife and cuts the hoof. Next, he does the "stripping off". He then gets the clift and he puts it into a certain hole in the anvil. He puts the iron on top of the clift and strikes the(continues on next page)- Collector
