    The nests are built of straw and gutter. The swallow lays five eggs.
    The bullfinch builds in a sheltered ivy tree. The nest is built of moss and hair.
    The tom-tit builds in rough stone ditch or in an old stone wall. The entrance to the tom-tits nest is very narrow. The inside of the nest is very spacious. The nest is built of rough uncleaned moss.
    The rooks live in a rookery near the school. Their eggs ar white. The nest is built of twigs.
    The corn-crake lays in a meadow.
    The cuckoo never builds a nest but in mere neccessity. The cuckoo lays her eggs on the ground
