Coyne had the farthest distance to go and was very much afraid. As he passed a cross-roads on his way home a little table of cards was placed before him. The ace of hearts was there on the table and he heard a voice saying "Rob the ace of Hearts." All disappeared after a few minuetes and Coyne got home without any other misfortune but although he often played cards after this he always managed to be home before mid-night.- Collector
