    Suil Townland Eskir
    situate in Wm Glennon land. A small field in which the water from a stream which flows through Clonohill disappears underground. Hence the name.

    Lisheen - Townland Gatestown
    situate Mike Spelmans farm near the Gatestown road.
    A small round hill. Burial place for unbaptised infants.

    Peters Hill - Townland Clonohill
    situate beside Gatestown Road. A long narrow field with a hill at one end. An old man named Peter is said to have died in a hole on the side of this hill about 100 years ago.

    Domhnaill's field - Townland Clonohill
    situate beside the public Athlone - Taughmaconnell road. Named from Domhnaill Keogh.
    Note: The Keogh family were the largest land owners in this part of Taughmaconnell. The Keogh family are distinct from the family to which Judge Keogh belonged.

    situate Keoghs land near Gatestown Road.
