For the woollen mills & factories,
They have my trade run down.
The are now almost everywhere
There's one in Bantry town.

Farewell unto my thrustle [?] sticks[?]
my shuttle & my loom.
For I will go out lobstering
All in the first of June.
I'll watch my pots right carefully
I'll haul them night & day
But Donovans Tom he shakes his head
& says they wont pa-. pa.- pay.

When first I went to Peppers
Twas on the 9th of June.
He says if you'll go lobstering
You must commence right soon
My pots & gear are nearly gone
Therefore commence today
