In Lacareigh hill there is a big flat rock called "the mass rock". It is said that mass was celebrated on this rock in the penal times.
The Robbers' Den.
In the south side of Lacareigh hill there is a place called "the robbers' den". It is said that a crowd of robbers lived here long ago and they used go out every night stealing.
Poll na gChaorac
There is a wind mill in Dunbeacon and it was in poll na gcaorac the wool was washed for the mill and that is why it is called poll na gchaorac.- Collector
