    all for themselves. Johny was about two miles away at this time. They said that they would not give Johny any fish and to pretend that they got no fish. Johny was in his bed and said "O! the thieves robbing the poor man of his fish." When the people came up to the house the brother asked them was that what they made up and they said it was. So that seems as if he had some power above nature.
    This is another story about the same man. He met a man one day and gave him a stick and told him not to get it go till he went inside his own door. Now all the rest of the men began to joke the man that got the stick. He threw it over the fence and in the morning he found himself in an old ruin about a mile away from his own house. It is
