    A man who was passing by heard all the talk and ran away. He met two guards and they asked him why was he running and he said "God and the devil are fighting for souls inside the Abbey gate". They thought he was mad but he said "Go and listen" so they went and heard the same as the man. When the men had finished counting, one of them said "What about the three at the gate".
    The guards thouht it was themselves they meant and ran away, but it was not the gaurds they meant but the apples.
