   long until they met a man, and a bundle of rods on his back. The same man spoke again, "I thought," said he,
   "Gur ins an gheimhre do ghíogán an t-slat."

   When they reached the fair, Owen Ruadh said, "Well you must call that drink now"
   "How is that, aroo?" said the other man.
   "On account of that fine verse you made." said Owen. And he put together what the other man had said:

   "Is breágh í do lomhradh, a chaora,
   Is geal í do phíbh, a bhean,
   Ins an bhfairrge choítheach a chómhnuigheann na faoilinn
   Ins an gheimhre do ghíoghán an tslat!"

   The other man called the drink and paid for it.
