  1. One upon a time a man was going to a fair very early in the morning with a horse and cart.
    When he was a long way off from home, a man jumped into the cart and asked him where he was going. The other man told him that he was going to the fair.
    When day was dawning, the man jumped out of the cart again, and he said that the night was for the people to sleep, and for fairies to wander about, and told him not to go out so early in the morning ever again.
