    it is many years since it happened nobody ever discovered the gold.
    It is said several people tried it in days gone by but were always put off by what they call a "fairy wind". Rumour has it that lights are to be seen there sometimes. Although it is over a hundred years since it happened, it is still called the "Murder Bog".
